3D DESIGN CALCULATOR
The purpose of the 3D Calculator is showing result of the selected acquisition parameters to the designer and prevent possible time loss. Also, 3D calculator helps designers to reach optimum acquisition parameters before the actual design. Moreover, the designer can also reach the estimated cost of the survey by entering some necessary information such as shot price and standby price.

For Calculation, the. Designer needs to select and enter number in some empty field in the `Design Parameters` panel.
Before clicking the calculate button, the designer should choose roll parameter, target zone calculation method and width of the project area.
In project area panel, there are two possible ways to calculate project area.
First option request the width and height of the area, then calculate automatically project area.
Second option requests directly project area km2, but in this option, the estimated fold coverage area will not be calculated in the result panel.


The result panel shows that;

Bin size is 25m X 25 m,
Maximum offset is 6319.12 m,

Azimuth of the survey is “Narrow Azimuth”,
Aspect ratio is 0.34,
Estimated shot is 34000 for 680 km2 project area,
34000 sources will be completed in 226.6 days with estimated 150 daily shots,
