ENERGY CONTROLLER

9.png

In seismic studies, it is very important that the energy sent to the ground is transmitted to the target level.

Even if these parameters are determined optimally at the beginning of the project, from time to time, changing these parameters may become necessary due to mechanical failures, environmental factors, changes in the number of Vibro used, or Vibro`s Drive Level. In such cases, it is necessary to make sure that the 2nd parameter meets the requirements of the project.

According to the parameters entered above, 309.4 Kn.s / m energy is sent to the ground. If it is necessary to make a change in one of these parameters (such as Vibro number), an energy amount close to 309.4 Kn.s / m should be tried to be obtained by changing the other parameters.

In case the number of vibroseis decreased from 4 vibroseis to 3 vibroseis, the amount of energy sent to the ground was calculated as 232.05 Kn.s / m. In such a case, there is approximately 25% reduction in the amount of energy compared to the optimal parameter.

In the example above, by increasing the number of sweeps, the loss in the amount of energy sent to the ground was covered. In such a case, it would be logical to continue with 3 Vibro 7 Sweeps until the project returns to the parameter 4 Vibro 4 Sweep, in order to keep the amount of energy sent to the ground constantly.
